Attackers/Hackers are always up to something quirky. You can never guarantee the safety of your online data when there are such attackers existing on the web. They don’t always intend to steal your data, but whatever may be the reason, they end up being a pain in your ass.

Well, here’s another attack by these so called Hackers.
As the Daily Dot suggests, near around 5 million usernames & passwords of Gmail Accounts have been leaked on a Russian Bitcoin forum. Obviously, the list isn’t available by now, but the most sources suggest that around 60% of the passwords are still valid & prone to misuse. Yes, you read it right, 60% of 5 million account passwords are still under the threat of being misused.

Probably, you haven’t lost everything by now, you can still safeguard yourself. You can check whether your email falls under these 5 million accounts or not by visiting isLeaked.com & looking for your email by simply entering it in the search database.

Never submit your entire email id, you can still search by using multiple asterisks in your email id.

Even if your account isn’t present in the hacked accounts’ database, it is recommended to change your Gmail password & enable 2 step verification on your account.
