Express Painting with Berger and IndiBlogger

On the afternoon of 11th February, I was invited to be a part of #BergerXP IndiBlogger Meet. The meet took place in the luxurious Vivanta Taj, Colaba. This was a launch event of Berger Paints‘ Express Painting.

Berger Paints India being an innovation driven organization has come up with the Berger Express Painting service in order to upgrade the painting process. For some time now market research showed that the process of painting, for consumers was a very time consuming affair which came with its share of health hazards.

Keeping this in mind, Berger Paints has come up with the motto of a “Faster, Cleaner and Better” experience for consumers with its Express Painting service. It has been designed keeping in mind the upgradation of the painting process whereby both the consumers and the applicator benefits from this new service.

On the one hand it promises the consumer a world class painting experience minus the dust, dirt and paint spillage with excellent finish and on the other hand it assures the applicator of more business by reducing the time required for each painting assignment.

With tools designed to specifically make the process of painting faster and hassle-free, painting is now an enjoyable experience:

  • 40 percent faster than traditional painting!
  • Trained painters for efficient and better painting
  • Get sparkling results with our no-mess tools!
  • Cutting-edge vacuum suction-enabled sanding machines keep your house dust-free!

The event started off with Mr. Chandranath Banerjee – Service Head, Express Painting giving us a brief history about Berger Paints and how they’ve continuously focused on the innovation to make painting a hassle-free experience.

I liked the fact that he was pretty honest about Berger Paints’ market standings and their vision as a company. Painting industry as we see it today is highly unorganised. The unpleasant experience and a rough finish is to be blamed upon the painters in most of the cases. The lack of training and understanding of the paints might be the problem here for the painters.

Express Painting is an attempt to address this problem of unpleasant painting experience both for the households and the painters.

Now the obvious question, how does Express Painting solves this problem? Well, this is how,

Along with the superior quality of paints, Express Painting is facilitated with Home Painting Tools viz., Sanding Machine, Multipurpose Mixer, Auto Roller, High Pressure Washer and Airless Paint Sprayer. These tools considerably reduce the amount of dust and other similar problems of painting.

Berger Paints have their in-house painters for Express Painting and have also tied up with a lot of local painters and vendors. They train these local vendors and authorise them to express paint after their respective training.

Yes, this means no running any troublesome errands for painting your house. You just have to book your Express Painting on Berger Paints’ toll free number – 1800 103 6030.

We also had a small painting competition at the end of this meet. We were split into teams and our goal was to paint something around the topic of ‘Mumbai Diaries’ or ‘Colors of India’. Me and my team decided to go with ‘Colors of India’ and came up with this,

'Colors of India' by Team Faster
‘Colors of India’ by Team Faster

We wanted to depict modern India, which is a vibrant India. A country where each one has an opinion and the right to express the same. Yeah, we weren’t quite able to express it in the painting and did not win the competition. But, we enjoyed a lot, nevertheless.
