One Month into the Creative Break

One month ago, I quit my longest-standing job and embarked on a pathless path to let my creativity wander. I thought I’d be lazing around, but instead, I’ve been the most productive I’ve been in the past couple of years.

“How’s your break going?” has been the most common question from my friends over the past month. So, here you go…

  • Traveled to Stawno, Alicante, Valencia, Altea & Amsterdam
  • Made progress on a new side project – I’ll reveal this next week
  • Playing sports regularly – Cricket, Tennis, Padel, Running
  • Walking 10K steps almost daily
  • Spending a lot of time in nature – lakes, parks, hikes, walks
  • Spoke at PAKCon on Building your ideas with AI
  • Recorded an episode of Consistent Creators
  • More time to hang out with friends. Most notably, I met Yulia in Alicante after all these years of knowing her virtually
  • Landed Femke + Charli a quarterly sponsorship deal for their podcast
  • Joined a few workshops during the Berlin Coffee Week

Life has mostly been great except for a few visits to the doctor for my eye condition. Also, while traveling, I skipped an issue of the Product Disrupt newsletter — something I rarely do. I’m allowing myself this one-time lapse.

I’ll leave you with this short recap reel. Talk soon 🙂
